Event Details

The Inaugural Bendigo International Festival of Exploratory Music brings the most innovative and virtuosic concert music from all around the world direct to Bendigo’s View Street Cultural precinct. With international guests including the Flux Quartet from New York, flautist Matteo Cesari and conductor Maxime Pascal from Paris, soprano Jessica Aszodi and clarinettist Samuel Dumscombe from San Diego, this festival also boasts the most excitng talent working in Australia, Victoria and Bendigo.

Over four days, you can hear live music from 15 different countries performed across three recitals, eight concerts, two talks, a lecture, a workshop and a vernissage. Of these 16 elements, six are free, and nine are about the price of a cinema ticket. BIFEM’s promise is clear: our doors are open to you, if your ears and minds are open to us. Come explore.
