Work Details

Year: 2011

Instrumentation: 2 flutes, 2 oboes (2nd doubling cor anglais), 2 clarinets (in Bb & A, 2nd doubling bass clarinet), 2 bassoons (2nd doubling contrabassoon), 4 horns in F, 2 trumpets in C, 2 trombones, bass trombone, tuba, timpani, percussion (2 players), solo cello, strings.

Duration: 15 min.

Difficulty: Advanced

Contents note: I Larghetto supplicando -- II Passacaglia -- III Andante cantabile con moto.

Dedication note: For Jewel, in memory of her father Leslie Andrew Medlik (1926-2011)
