Event Details
Throughout time, composers and artists have found continual inspiration from nature and birdsong. From Rachmaninoff’s stunning ‘Lilacs’ to McCartney’s anthem ‘Blackbird’, and Stravinsky’s awe-inspiring ‘Firebird’, this show conveys landscapes, tweets, and squawks of all kinds.
Featured non-Australian music: Works by Rachmaninoff, Ravel, Nono, Sondheim, McCartney, Glinka, Messiaen + Stravinsky
