Event Details
In celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Classical Guitar Society of WA Inc, this special event is a double-concert gala celebration of the guitar in WA, with cameo performances from a wide range of inspirational home-grown talent. Including solo, chamber, and ensemble items, with special emphasis on works of particular significance to WA, the event commemorates the history of the society and its unique contributions to the cultural life of the state. The Guitar Society Orchestra will also premiere a new work commissioned by the Society for its 60th anniversary by renowned guitarist and composer Duncan Gardiner.
