Event Details
Some Polish folk dances by Lutoslawski, a whimsical moment or two in dance by Ross Edwards, a couple of different takes on tango by Richard Vella and Astor Piazzolla. A change of pace with a languid waltz by Martin Wesley-Smith and a wee bit of irony and the odd aphorism by Russians Shostakovich and Prokofiev. A dance in a snake pit by Maria Grenfell with a manic dance of death, a mad-capped tarantella by American composer Gwyneth Walker, and a few more.
