Work Overview

Dei gratia regina (By the Grace of God, Queen) was written specifically to serve as a recessional for The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Concert, celebrating Her Majesty Elizabeth II's seventieth year as Queen of Australia. The short work culminates with the ringing of the St John's Cathedral bells, which are tuned in E. All of Heaven sings: "God Save the Queen!"
