Instrumentation: Soprano, mezzo-soprano, tenor and baritone soloists; orchestra: 3 flutes (3rd doubling piccolo), 3 oboes (3rd doubling cor anglais), 3 clarinets in B flat (3rd doubling bass clarinet in B flat), bassoon, alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, 2 horns, 2 trumpets, 2 trombones, bass trombone, tuba, timpani, percussion - including kit (6 players), timpani, synthesizer, electric guitar, bass guitar, strings (minimum 10, 10, 6, 6, 4) ; large SATB choir (including chamber chorus - minimum of 24 voices).
