Part Needle, Part Thread is a setting of, and was inspired by, a short poem called "Tapestry for Friends" by Adelaide-based poet Ann Nadge. The text explores the delicate connection between love and time, and describes that connection as an entity, a process and a protection against emotional darkness.
Instrumentation: SSATBarB choir.

Commission note: Commissioned by Adelaide Chamber Singers.. Initially commissioned and composed for the World Choir Games in Belgium, 2020 (cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic)
