Commissioned by Timothy Kain for Guitar Trek, this large five movement work attempts to depict in sound the mood and variety of various Australian skies.

Work Details

Year: 1996

Instrumentation: Treble guitar, 2 standard guitars, bass guitar.

Contents note: The Southern Cross over a black sea -- Meridian termite mounds with magenta sunset -- Ashen sky with dark sun -- A sky for dreaming -- Opal sky with birds.
