Life is a precious gift : Lament for Ukraine : for piano and violin

by Natalya Vagner (2022)

Work Overview

It is a lament for Ukraine and expression of devastation and deep loss of lifes in times of war. It describes the tragedy and disbelieve that its still happening in our times, in 2022. Ukraine and Russia are two related nations and they share the history from 1000 years ago. People share very two like languages, close culture and friendship of many years living together. It is is a total tradegy that the conflict resolved in war, rather then in diplomatic negotiations. I have personally have friends both in Russia and Ukraine, and its devastating to watch them being at war with each other.
