Work Overview
A musical degustation in six courses. This work is in the form of an entertainment at a party. There are spoken introductions (some verses) and some visual gags during the piece.
Some movements are derivative and imitate other composers with quotes from:- Pictures at an Exhibition, Satie's Gymnopodie, a Chinese folksong, The Barber of Seville, Brahms's lullaby and even the Dies Irae. The whole is not meant to be taken seriously?
