Work Overview

The work was written in grief for a friend suffering through terminal cancer. As such I wanted to write gestures that expressed my feelings, but also explore the literalism of emotion setting tempo through heartbeat. This work uses the live heartrates of two of the performing musicians as a clicktrack to set tempo.
