Product details
'The eagle flight' or 'Bunjil' is inspired by
my friend Carolyn Briggs, an elder of Boonwurrung Australian
Aboriginal people of Kulin Nation in the region more known as
Birrarung or Melbourne. Its dedicated to Boonwurrung people of
Victoria
We are facing a time of great challenge, because of climate
change, causing sea level rise. Our first nations people can help
us learn how we need to act, because of their thousands of
generations of experience.
Here is an aboriginal story and perhaps coincides with formation
of Port Phillip Bay 10,000 years ago when climate change was
happening and sea level rise has risen.Tasmania then has
separated from the main land and become to be an island on its
own. The sea level did rise and formed the bay known today as
'Port Phillip Bay'.
