Product details

The texts used are drawn and adapted from the recollections of Soviet cosmonauts and American astronauts of the late 20th century. Astro and cosmo -nauts were usually chosen from the ranks of elite test pilots for both their technical skills and personalities. They were not the sort one would associate with poetical or spiritual reflection. Yet almost every personal account I read is infused with these emotional responses and the recollections of the space travellers reveal the awe, wonder of their encounter with the cosmos.
