Harpist Marshall McGuire is the world's greatest champion of new music for the harp. His particular passion for 20th Century music is reflected in this 2CD set which draws on recordings from two of his best albums including the ARIA Best Classical Album nominated Twentieth Century Harp.
Featuring works by Britten, Hindemith, Takemitsu, Kats-Chernin, Pärt, and Brophy including many pieces written especially for him, McGuire's performances of the 20th century repertoire can only be described as virtuosic.
