Event Details
The CGS Orchestra breaks two years of silence with a much-anticipated concert that pays tribute to two very special people. We feature the premiere of Richard Charlton’s “Salty Tales”, commissioned in memory of long-time member and treasurer of the CGS, Tig Thomas. Janet Agostino’s work, “The Pharaoh from Monaro”, pays tribute to the innovative luthier Graham Caldersmith featuring his guitar family instruments together with narrator Dan Sharkey. Guest ensembles from the CGS, the UNSW and Sydney Guitar School join forces to make this evening a joyous and memorable event.
