Event Details
From RainbowStudio to Melbourne Recital Centre.
Slava and Leonard Grigoryan will be performing works from their new album which was recorded in Norway at the legendary RainbowStudio and features music by Nigel Westlake, William Lovelady, Shaun Rigney, Luke Howard, Ralph Towner and original compositions by the brothers. This concert is part of an extensive national tour.
Duos are common enough in the musical world, but sibling duos are a rare thing. Slava and Leonard Grigoryan are that rare thing. There is no rivalry, only the bonds of family and a love of music. It is fitting, then, that this concert is in tribute to the Horwood Brothers of Preston, some of our ANZAC Local Heroes.
In 2015 Melbourne Recital Centre’s Local Heroes series shares the stories of our World War I heroes.
