Event Details

Symphony in The Domain is one of Sydney’s favourite ways to spend a summer evening. This year, conductor Paul Kildea celebrates the music of brilliant American composer Leonard Bernstein in a vivacious program showing his genius across a range of music styles.

Unafraid of broad popularity, and always open to new adventures, Bernstein inspired a new generation of boundary-free composers, including many Australians. The second half showcases new Australian compositions for orchestra.

Finally, of course, the 1812 Overture completes another glorious night under the stars.

We strongly recommend using public transport – call 131 500 for information. Limited spaces will be available for RTA Mobility Parking Scheme Permit Holders and must be booked before the event on 02 8006 5700.
