Event Details
Legendary conductor and music educator Richard Gill AO and the Australian Romantic & Classical Orchestra are on a Voyage of Musical Discovery, designed especially for high school music students. In collaboration with some of Australia’s finest ensembles, including The World According to James, Ensemble Offspring, and Camerata Antica, we are proud to present a series of three concerts in which Richard Gill will lead students through the music of past and present, exploring new Australian music, ancient music, and jazz alongside Classical and Romantic repertoire on period instruments.
Richard Gill Presents - A Voyage of Musical Discovery promises to become an invaluable addition to current music education in Australia. This extraordinary voyage can be extended via special discount rates to the acclaimed Australian Romantic & Classical Orchestra subscription concerts, which are presented to coincide with the education series.
