Event Details
The works in the Open Music program are not fixed in the imagination of the composer, but fluid objects rendered afresh with every performance. Same Steps, by Ensemble Offspring's Artistic Director Damien Ricketson, creates sound out of notation more commonly associated with choreography.
Featured non-Australian music: John Zorn - Hockey, John Cage - Three2, Philip Glass - Music in Fifths.
