Australian pianist Lisa Moore has been described as ‘…beautiful and impassioned…’ by The New York Times and ‘New York’s queen of avant-garde piano’ by The New Yorker. Lisa will open the 2014 Kawai Piano Series with a recital of thrilling repertoire, including one of Haydn’s last piano sonatas and one of Rzewski’s ‘speaking pianist’ works.
