Event Details
Experience characterful storytelling in art gallery surrounds as Ensemble Goldentree perform works for soprano, horn, violin and piano by Australian and English composers, featuring the world premiere of a work by Melbournian composer, Warren Lenthall.
Tim (horn) and Alison (soprano) are joined by pianist, Megan Steller, and violinist, Katriona Tsyrlin, to present the world premiere of Winter, alongside a performance of Arnold Cooke's evocative Nocturnes. The ensemble recently performed the nocturnes at the Australian Festival of Chamber Music in Townsville and are excited to bring it to a local audience. Ensemble Goldentree are delighted to share this concert of unique pieces, including solo works by each performer. A light supper will be served after the concert surrounded by local art.
Ensemble Goldentree: Alison McIntosh-Deszcz (soprano), Tim Hannah (horn), Katriona Tsyrlin (violin), Megan Steller (piano)
Featured non-Australian music: Arnold Cooke - Nocturnes, Benjamin Britten - Fanfare
