In our third season for 2019, Brisbane Symphony Orchestra is proud to be supporting three absolutely outstanding young musicians – Anwen Deng, the youngest child ever to be accepted into the prestigious Juilliard School of Music in New York, Jeremy Sun, winner in several categories in the Queensland Piano Competition last year and Jemima Drew, winner of this year’s James Carson Memorial Flute Prize.
Featured non-Australian music: Mozart - Piano Concerto No. 21; Bernstein - Symphonic Dances from Westside Story; Beethoven - Rondo Allegro from Piano Concerto No.3; Tchaikovsky - Marche Slave
