I am an Australian composer of orchestral and chamber works and
professional musician for over thirty years. I studied music as a
second teacher area at Griffith University and privately with Dr
Simeon Christoff for over a decade. After a two year teaching
stint based in the U.A.E, an evening of chamber works was
presented at Bertheil Museum in Durban by members of the Kwa-Zulu
Natal Philharmonic.
My first symphony was premiered in Mackay in 2003 at the Mackay
Entertainment Centre. Subsequently in 2004, I began a short stint
work on the Great Barrier Reef- (Hardy Reerf in the Whitsundays
as a divemaster). Thereafter I was inspired to write a full
symphonic work and successfully applied for a RADF grant through
the Mackay Regional Council and a 42 min symphony was scored. In
2011, A 74 work for ballet was recorded and premiered Pazardzhik
Bulgaria.
I was selected as the composer collaborator for a new Ballet work
by Director of Margot Fonteyn Academy NY Mr Kenneth Ludden to
write a new major ballet work. Ne: Roi. Excerpts have been
presented at the National Theatre Melbourne, Mackay Entertainment
Centre 2018 and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2017.
