Julian Day is a composer, artist and broadcaster. He performs as An Infinity Room and co-directs the participatory sound project Super Critical Mass. He has worked with TILT Brass, Transit Ensemble, Ensemble Offspring, Australian String Quartet, Synergy Percussion, The Song Company, Orchestra Victoria, Lisa Moore and Zubin Kanga. His work has featured at the MATA Festival, Bang On A Can Marathon, Mass MoCA, Royal Academy of Music, Whitechapel Gallery, Café Oto, FutureEverything, Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, 8th Asia Pacific Triennial (Queensland Art Gallery of Modern Art), Museum of Contemporary Art Australia, Australian Centre for Contemporary Art (NEW16) and Dark MOFO.

He has presented and produced many programs for ABC and BBC radio including the long-standing New Music Up Late, interviewing Elliot Carter, Pauline Oliveros, Steve Reich, Laurie Anderson and many others. He has undertaken lessons and masterclasses with Alvin Lucier, Louis Andriessen, Marina Rosenfeld and Michael Gordon.
