I am thankful to have been born in lutruwita and to have studied music together with Don Kay and Simon Reade at the time I did. The compositional quest, to discover one's voice, has taken decades. Having explored the occidental tradition as thoroughly as I could, assimilating lessons and approaches, the essence of the music which has been given me to express has crystalised as being that of my homeland, lutruwita.
