Music and Dance Initiative grants to Paine, Grandage and Ricketson
Garth Paine, Iain Grandage and Damien Ricketson are among the grant recipients of the most recent round of the Music and Dance Initiative grants from the Australia Council for the Arts. This is the second year that the Dance and Music Boards have worked together to support innovative new dance and music projects through this initiative.
There were a total of 30 applications, with a total of $119,000 grants to the six successful applicants. The panel commented on the diversity of the projects, as well as the mix of new and experienced artists represented.
