AMC-represented artists Caitlin Yeo, Christopher Gordon, Cezary Skubiszewski, Burkhard Dallwitz and Nerida Tyson-Chew are among the nominees for the 2018 Screen Music Awards.

Caitlin Yeo has been nominated in four categories: Best Music for a Mini-Series or Telemovie (for The House with Annabel Crabb), the Best Music for a Short Film (for Barbara), as well as the Best Soundtrack Album and Feature Film Score of the Year categories (for the coming-of-age tale The Butterfly Tree). Christopher Gordon's nomination came in the Feature Film Score of the Year category, for his music for Bruce Beresford's film Ladies in Black.

The father-and-son team Cezary Skubiszewski & Jan Skubiszewski have been nominated for their music for the TV series Picnic at Hanging Rock. Burkhard Dallwitz's work on the mini-series Underbelly Files: Chopper was nominated in the Best Music for a Mini-Series or Telemovie category. Nerida Tyson-Chew was nominated for her music in the children's TV series The Deep.

The winners will be announced at a gala event in Sydney at the City Recital Hall on Monday 19 November. Musical Director Jessica Wells will lead a live orchestra that will perform a selection of nominated compositions, with Denise Scott appearing as host of the ceremony.

The Screen Music Awards are staged jointly by APRA AMCOS and the Australian Guild of Screen Composers (AGSC).
