AMPlify

AMPlify is the AMC's brand-new framework of artist development programs, being developed in close collaboration with APRA AMCOS, as well as other key partners.

The AMPlify framework will cover in a holistic way the value chain from the creation of work to its presentation and dissemination, including: the creation of new works through cross-genre and cross-artform and collaborations, creative development in partnership with festivals, venues, and artist-in-residence locations. Reaching out for new audiences is an important part of AMPlify. The emphasis will not be solely on live performance, as other mediums such as radio broadcast or digital disseminations will also form an important part of programs under the AMPlify umbrella.

Projects will combine the concepts of workshop, laboratory, playground, and masterclass. AMPlify embraces not only composers and sound artists, but also curators and producers, to broaden the scope of development opportunities to these artists whose skills are increasingly required for art music to reach its full potential.

The involvement of a broad range of key partners is a key factor in the development and implementation of the AMPlify framework. Further details about individual programs and AMPlify partnerships will be released as programs proceed to a stage where expressions of interest can be sought from artists.
