Year: 1963, this version: 1966
Instrumentation: 2 flutes (2nd doubling piccolo), 2 oboes (2nd doubling cor anglais), 2 clarinets in B flat (2nd doubling bass clarinet), 2 bassoons (2nd doubling contra-bassoon), 4 horns in F, 3 trumpets in B flat, 3 trombones, harp, timpani, percussion, strings.
Duration: 20 min.
Contents note: I. Prelude, Cuban dances and waltz song (Presto) ; II. Passacaglia and threnody (Allegretto - Poco lento) ; III. Serenade (Allegretto) ; IV. Intermezzo (Allegro) ; V. Finale (Andante lento).
