Work Overview
There are four movements: 1. La Joie; 2. La Promenade; 3. Le Blues; 4 Le Grand Canon Romantique. Although the original pieces were separate movements, the style of each has something in common with French romanticism, hence the creation of the suite.

The composer notes: This may be the best version I have written of this suite. It suits the viola extremely well. The movements are tuneful, being something of a tribute to French Romanticism.
