Work Overview
This work is a memorial piece for the young Australian violinist,
Richard Pollett who was killed in a tragic cycing accident in
Brisbane on September 27, 2011.
It is a highly atmospheric piece that uses stylized birdsong and
a quotation of the chorale Es is Genug to create a
highly charged emotional statement about loss and acceptance.
