Instrumentation: 3 flutes (2 doubling piccolos), 3 oboes, 3 Bb clarinets (2 doubling bass clarinets), 3 bassoons (1 doubling contra bassoon), 4 horns, 4 trumpets, 2 tenor trombones, bass trombone, tuba, 4 percussion, timpani, harp, piano, strings (14.12.8.8.6).
