Work Overview
Gandangarragal is a SATB setting of a poem by Elizabeth Sheppard, composed soon after the devastating Blue Mountains bushfires, as a way of singing hurt Country back to life. Premiered at Riverside Theatres Parramatta, it was subsequently acclaimed by the Blue Mountains community after performances by River City Voices at the 2022 Blackheath Choral Festival.
