Work Overview
The composer lived and worked in Darwin in 1977 and witnessed the devastating effect of Cyclone Tracy on the psche of the population. The two movements of this composition are intended to express the conflicting emotions of the people who had lost homes, businesses and loved ones but still possessed the enormous energy required to rebuild their lives.

Difficulty: Advanced — The string parts are of moderate difficulty. The guitar part has rapid chord changes and a solo in the second movement that requires strength.
