Score
Three Moon Songs : basso profondo & pipe organ / music: Ron Nagorcka ; lyrics: Keith Harrison.
Library shelf no. 783.89547/NAG 1 [Available for loan]
Work Overview
The lyrics of this piece suggest a great variety of images and moods which are interpreted here with a simple organ (or electronic keyboard) sound tuned differently in each of 4 octaves. The harmonies that are possible in the higher registers (with many septimal intervals) are quite different to those lower registers which play the mellow smooth tones on perfectly tuned 3rds and 5ths.
