This work aims to feature each section of the wind ensemble, with most players getting a small feature. It also pays homage to wind ensemble music over the ages, quoting Mozart's K375 Serenade, and being an exploration and expansion of the Chaconne theme from Holst's First Suite in Eb for Military Band.
