Instrumentation: Piccolo/flute, oboe/cor anglais, clarinet/bass clarinet, bassoon, 4 horns (2nd & 4th doubling bass Wagner tuba), 2 trumpets in C (1st doubling flugelhorn in B flat, opt.), 2 trombones, bass trombone, tuba, timpani, percussion (2 players), piano, harp, child soprano, choir, strings.
