Work Overview

Composed shortly after the death of my mother, this work is inspired by the sunlight as it strikes hillsides in Numinbah, Northern NSW, where my mother spent much of the last few months of her life. Consisting entirely of glowing long notes, the work gradually moves through shifting colours of harmony and mode, and is intended to be as resonant and beautiful as it can be.
