Work Overview
Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott's 2-second spoken phrase "w...well, th...there is no doubt" is looped 128 times, and with each iteration a new copy of the recording is added, microseconds later than the first. All kinds of resonances are gradually amplified and the speech is gradually transformed into a drone - linear becoming nonlinear, speech becoming music.
