Tarimi Nulay is song which connects both performer and audience with a deeper understanding of Indigenous culture through the opportunity to sing in the ancient language of the Gadigal people.

Instrumentation: Solo soprano, SATB, 2 flutes, oboe, clarinet in B flat, bassoon, horn in F, 2 trumpets in B flat, trombone, piano, strings.
Commission note: commissioned by St Andrews

Chorus sung in the Indigenous language of the Gadigal (Sydney) people. Translation by Gadigal Cultural Custodian Matthew Doyle.
When rehearsing or performing Tarimi Nulay please be sure to acknowldge the language as belonging to the Gadigal people of Sydney and pay respects to elders past present and emerging.
