Work Overview

This is a contemporary jazz work for either large jazz ensemble or big band. It has a heavy rock feel and features tenor sax on a driving opening riff and as soloist. The overall form is an ABA, the first and last sections contain the rock feel, mostly in 4/4, and the moddle section is in 6/4 over a repeated guitar motif.

The big band version also features a guitar solo.
The 10-piece version also features a drum solo
