Work Overview

This work is composed in seven sequences which broadly encompass a narrative surrounding the memory of a year long journey through the Northern Territory of Australia, a parallel internal journey, and the dynamic between internal and external landscapes. It features the voice and many extended techniques of the voice including microtonal variations and sequences and vocal harmonics as well as more traditional classical techniques. It also features the Didjeridu and draws parallels between the harmonics of this instrument and vocal harmonics.In this recording all instrumentaion-piano, voice and Didjeridu are aplyed by the composer.
