Work Overview

This piece proposes a hypersensitive approach to pianistic touch-bravura is largely avoided in favor of intimate, tenuous interactions. The pianist's usual gestural repertory is reimagined as various light taps, scrapes and flicks-an oftentimes barely sounding dance upon the keyboard.
