Voyage was composed to mark the centenary of Sir Douglas Mawson departing Hobart on December 2nd, 1911, on a voyage of research and discovery to Antarctica.
Instrumentation: Piccolo, 2 flutes, oboe, bassoon, 3 clarinets, bass clarinet, 2 alto saxophones, tenor saxophone, baritone saxophone, 3 trumpets in Bb, 4 horns in F, 2 trombones, bass trombone, euphonium, tuba, timpani, percussion (3 players).
