Work Overview
Travelogue was composed in 2008 for the Clarence High School Saxophone Quartet and Senior Concert Band and revised the following year for the Island Saxophone Quartet with the Derwent Valley Concert Band. The work is dedicated to Lyall McDermott.
This transcription of the Finale was done in 2013 for the saxophones of Hobart Youth Winds (Kit Neasey, Samara Foster-Grose, Sam Harrington, James Long with conductor Claire Reade). The transcription is designed to differ as little as possible from the original solo parts in order that the players are easily able to change between versions -
the solo quartet are able to use this short work independently of the concert band version with as small an alteration to the music as possible.
