Work Overview
Voltage is a work primarily based on rhythmic combinations related to 240. This number, or numbers related to it (180, 120 etc.) forms the overall number of events in the sub-structure of section II, which are in turn divided into various combinations of rhythmic groups based on 5, 4 and 3. The first section of Voltage contains a rhythmically free time-space texture where flexible cross-rhythms and gestures that speed up and slow down appear also using rhythmic groups of 5, 4, and 3 plus these numbers added together.
