Best Practice in Artistic Research in Music Symposium took place at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, University of Sydney, in September 2017. Convened by Professor Neal Peres Da Costa, this Symposium brought together practitioners and policy makers to share information about best practice in artistic research in music. This keynote presentation includes a performance of Liza Lim’s work ‘An Elemental Thing’ (2017) for solo woodblock, performed by percussionist, Eugene Ughetti [see 33'40].
