Work Overview
"When the World was Green" a play by Sam Shepard, was premiered
in Australia at the Belvoir Downstairs, a Sydney theatre, in
1998.
The setting of the play is in both Eastern Europe and New Orleans
after World War II. A number of short pieces were composed to
reflect the varying settings and moods, and
these appeared both as background and feature music.
