This unique recording covers a broad cross-section of the tuba repertoire. From the melodic gracefulness of the Ralph Vaughan Williams Concerto for Bass Tuba and Orchestra, to the avant-garde Concerto by William Lovelock and the amusing 'Effie the Elephant'.

Peter Whish-Wilson studied with many of the world's greatest teachers and players. He has performed throughout Australia both in all the major state symphony orchestras as a soloist. Peter has been Principal Tuba of the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra since 1978.
